My approach as a psychotherapist is to meet my clients with compassion, curiosity, and honesty. I aim to practice cultural competence as much as possible by continuing my own work as a global citizen and practicing cultural humility. I believe we are made to be in connection with others, and we heal when we are also supported and feel seen.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of insurance do you accept?

At this time, all services are cash (aka Private pay) only, and I am considered an Out of Network provider. Some insurance companies will be willing to reimburse part of the cost of your therapy. I can provide a superbill on your behalf.

How do I schedule an appointment?

What kind of services do you offer?

I provide 50ish minute individual counseling sessions. For more information and price breakdowns visit my service page.

Do you work in person or are appointments online?

At this time all appointments are provided online, by telehealth, only.

What should I bring to my session?

Bring yourself. But for comfort feel free to bring water, tea or coffee, your favorite blanket, a friendly pet, whatever makes you feel comfortable and at home.

What can I expect when we meet?

In our first session we will spend time getting to know each other. This is called an "Assessment Appointment". If we decide we are a good fit we will take a couple weeks to create goals to understand what you want out of counseling and then we go from there.
